—– Game Length —–
Time limit:  1:40  (1:50 for 13/14U division)
Innings:  6  (7 for 13/14U)
NOTE:  No TIME Limit for Championship games.  Mercy rule still applies.
Mercy Rule:  15 after 3, 10 after 4, 8 after 5
Pool play games may end in a tie.
Bracket Play Extra Innings:  Runner (last batted out) on 2B, no outs

—– Baseballs —–
All teams shall supply two (2) new baseballs per game.
Please have additional “good” baseballs available, if needed.

—– Pitching Rules —–
8 innings max per pitcher for the tournament.
Rest period of 24/36/48hrs, shall mean the pitcher cannot pitch the next day (regardless of time of day).
FOR EXAMPLE:  9U-12U:  Once a pitcher pitches MORE than 3 innings in a day (he can continue in the current game), but once he leaves the mound he may not pitch in another game that day nor the next day.
FOR 13/14U:  The limit is 4 innings as opposed to 3 innings.
All other pitching rules (other than max innings in a tournament – our limit is 8) are governed by Dizzy Dean rules, including max innings in a day.
NOTE:  A single pitch to a batter is 1/3 of an inning, up to and including an out being made.  You may have more “innings pitched” across all your pitchers, than actual innings played.

—– Bats —–
9U-12U:  USSSA stamped, 1.15 BPF (no weight restrictions)
13/14U:  USSSA stamped 1.15 BPF -5  or BBCOR -3

—– Batting —–
Bat 9 / Play 9 (using subs)
Bat 10 (w/EH) (using subs)
Bat entire lineup.
NOTE:  You may not bat 11 or 12 (or more), unless it is your entire lineup.

—– Injuries —–
If a player is injured and cannot bat…
– If there are subs available, sub (if available, or a “burned” one)takes player’s position in batting lineup (if all subs are currently in the game, a starter must return to his position in lineup, and sub takes the injured players position).
– If no subs are available (e.g. batting entire lineup)…
AND injury was caused by an opponent’s action
(e.g. hit by pitch, obstruction/interference, etc)
NO OUT SHALL BE RECORDED WHEN PLAYER IS UP TO BAT IF THEY CAN NO LONGER PLAY (and they may not return to the game in any capacity)
OTHERWISE an out shall be recorded when player is up to bat

NOTE:  The above is a judgment call by the umpire.  But removes the scenario whereby an opposing team injures a player, but then receives an advantage of an automatic out.

—– Ejections —–
Players, coaches, and/or parents may be ejected from a game.
Duration will be the remainder of the current game, and the team’s next scheduled game.    Anyone ejected must leave the immediate area, and may not be in sight of the game being played.
An appeal to the tournament director can be made for waiving the ejection for the next scheduled game.  The tournament director’s decision is final.
NOTE:  In some serious cases, an ejection may apply to the remainder of the tournament.

—– Refunds —–
No games played – 100%
1 game played – 50%
2 games played – no refund
